Laurie worked in the Information Technology industry for eight years prior to leaving her job as a software analyst at a major law firm in order to pursue Web Design full time. She studied Website Design and Usability, XHTML, CSS, PHP, MYSQL, and the Adobe Creative Suite at the UCSD Extension, earning certificates in Web Design and Web Publishing. Laurie finds Web Design to be very rewarding and fulfilling work, and owning her own Web Design business is a dream come true. She lives in San Diego with her husband John and their two cats.
